Describe your show in ten words: Five hours of me doing my very best to entertain.
Favourite Group or Artist: Tough one. Until recently I would have said Robbie. The memory of me singing “Let Me Entertain You” in front of 3000 people will haunt me forever. Just haven’t heard much good material from him recently.
Most listened to song: Dire Straits’ “Walk of Life” – I used to pretend I could play the organ intro on the kitchen table when I was younger and it’s now on my MP3 player.
Most overplayed album: Over the years, it’s got to be between Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, ‘Jagged Little Pill’ by Alanis Morrissette and Robbie’s ‘Live at Knebworth’ (I was there on the first night).
Who do you hate? Drivers who don’t say thank you when you let them in and people who talk REALLY LOUDLY on their mobile phone in train carriages.
Biggest star you've met: I’ve met and interviewed Sir Steven Redgrave, which was a real honour for me. Oh, and I was once lucky enough to be let backstage at a Robbie concert in Milton Keynes where I met Jonathan Wilkes. Unfortunately I had to be asked to leave when I spotted an ex-England goalkeeper and shouted “SEAMAAAN” at the top of my voice. I couldn’t help it.
How many text messages do you send each day? Just got a new deal on my phone so I guess I send as many as I want!
Claim to Fame: I once worked at Richard and Judy. One of my jobs was to walk the boss’ three-legged, blind dog. She was called ‘Lucky’. The dog I mean…
Your most embarrassing on air moment: Swearing. Someone was doing an outside broadcast and I was pressing all the buttons in the studio. Instead of putting his mike on, I put mine on. I was very annoyed with myself and a naughty word just popped out.
What animal best describes your style? I’m going to go for a monkey here because I’m quite hairy. And I can be cheeky too.
What's your motto for life? Tomorrow is the greatest labour saving invention for today.
If you didn't work in radio what would you do? Sign on.
Hobbies: I like my sports (mainly rugby) although I can’t play anymore because of injuries and I’m always on the lookout for a new piece of Superman memorabilia to add to my collection.
Car wash or bucket? Bucket. Makes me feel like I’ve done something with my Sunday afternoon.
Favourite Tipple: Mine’s a pint of lager.
The song you sing on the Karaoke: I’ve had some very bad experiences with Karaoke in the past, which I’ll have to tell you about some time. However, if the following songs come on in the pub I’ll sing my heart out: Proclaimers - 500 miles Monkees – I’m a Believer Neil Diamond – Sweet Caroline
The most often worn item of clothing and why: My Superman T-Shirt; because I just can’t seem to grow up.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why: I travelled round North America in my Gap Year and loved it. Maybe I’ll retire to Florida some day.
Your favourite team and why: London Wasps. Well, they’re right on my doorstep now.
Your favourite type of food: Steak and chips or one of my Mum’s roasts.
Who would you like to spend a romantic meal with and why: Any one of the Corrs. Apart from the brother, obviously. I have a ‘thing’ for the Irish accent.
Why is Mix 107 the best radio station? We play great music and really know about South Bucks – we live it everyday.
